I’m doing some small work on the site. Basically I want to get the final set of widgets in place so I can resume my posting (one must be happy with the look of the site of course).
I’ve added an RSS Feed to Tammy’s blog (which is a good place to get updates when im in a posting lull) and in the lower left hand corner you’ll see the beginnings (very broken as it may be) of the Links section of the site.
More goodness to come
So last week (two weeks ago now I guess) Tammy and I took a vacation. For me this was my first in well over a year and it was really needed. All and all we did a whole lot of sitting around but we did manage to go out and buy two atvs. Other highlights from the week included playing Badminton, taking in some good food, going atving (which I will touch on more), and just general relaxing.
The highlight of course was the ATV (and the subsequent ATVing) and I must say it was a blast. Our place up north is in Coe Hill which is right on the entrance to the EOTA trail system so I’ve been up and down the E trail already several times (the E trail leads out of Coe Hill to the main E106B trail system of the EOTA system (that leads in to Bancroft, the major town in the area)). The EOTA system has 700kms worth of trails and I’ve already seen that our location couldn’t be any better for ATVing. Expect to see an ATV page added soon to this site with details on my travels
So that was my vacation thus far, I still have 2 weeks to go throughout this summer so I’m looking forward to more time away and more relaxation!
RJOWorld.com is almost 9 years old this year! I decided I wanted a bit more of a powerful CMS system (that’s not to say that Evan’s Opus system is not a kick ass blog system, it really is, it just doesn’t do pages, etc) to power the site and while I was at it a fresh new look!
So I present to you RJOWorld.com 4.0
(For those interested here is a look at the last few years via archive.org: 1.0 2.0 3.0 and today the new 4.0!)
I am in the middle of vacation at the moment and just in the city for about 24 hours while we do some laundry, etc…
So yes… Look what I bought…
