Welcome To 4.0!

RJOWorld.com is almost 9 years old this year! I decided I wanted a bit more of a powerful CMS system (that’s not to say that Evan’s Opus system is not a kick ass blog system, it really is, it just doesn’t do pages, etc) to power the site and while I was at it a fresh new look!

So I present to you RJOWorld.com 4.0

(For those interested here is a look at the last few years via archive.org: 1.0 2.0 3.0 and today the new 4.0!)

Pardon me for a moment whilst I go -
    ‘ooohhhhhhhh, aaahhhhhhh’.

There, I’m better now. Very cool stuff! :)

    I forgot I designed 1.0! Wasn’t it beautiful?

Yes indeed you did sir :)

True. Oh, this is kind of related, I’ve just finished (for now) a redesign of my blog :o )

    Cool.. not fixed-width! Hurray!!

Although, in IE7, there is a hideous horizontal scrollbar. But there is no use for it. You can just scroll into nothingness.

IE in general doesn’t seem to be best friends with the layout… Not that anyone uses IE :D

Okay, like, fix your comments. You can’t do angle brackets cause it thinks they’re tags.

    And I use IE7. :P Firefox = lose.

Blame WP… That’s my story… and something about sticking to it…

Write a new CMS and keep talking about it for several years but never actually release it. Oh yeah and start on PHP but then when you’ve done a lot of work, totally switch it to something else, like ASP.

I hear that works really well.

    See… I wanted to go that route… but let’s be honest… I don’t need SMS 2.0
